DJI being off-limits is simply stupid in my opinion. They're basically the best venue for drones at the moment.

Personally not surprised but as @herein2021 later said, I wouldn't have sent it for repair unless it's DJI. Instead of repairing your drone, DJI will ship you a new or refurbished one. Never dabbled with Autel because of the bad reviews (I'm not sure if they're true or not but don't want to test...

True, I don't actually have an Autel drone anymore so when I saw that, I just figured that that's how it's supposed to be connected and it was completely normal. I guess I was wrong.

I had contacted the seller previously and they said that they rent out drones and that a client had crashed this one. So they took off the gimbal since the body was totaled. Now, they have no use for the gimbal and are selling it.
