I RMA'd the unit through the retailer I bought it from, so no solution from Autel. They did make sure that my extended warranty carry over from the old unit to another, but I'm dreading ever using it, because this was a real suck process.

The solution was going through the retailer's RMA process. I already had a replacement unit for a few days before Autel even reached out.

Yeah the CS side of things seems pretty awful at the moment. Got a brand new Evo II Pro a week ago and an update broke something and the controller would no longer bind to anything. Immediately submitted a ticket and tried rebinding the controller and "manually" installing an update from an SD...

Submitted a ticket Saturday, still haven't heard anything from tech support, like everyone here left a message on an answering machine. Just decided to do an RMA with B&H photo yesterday and a replacement is already on the way. I get that they're short staffed and this is probably a nightmare...

Thank you, I did that, unpacked the V2 firmware (4 files) onto the SD card and ran then both several times for probably over three hours total at this point, even tried just leaving the ZIP file on the SD once because the instructions are unclear. Nothing so far, controller still connect...

Currently having a very similar if not exactly the same problem and the manual way to update does nothing. I've had this thing on probably two-three hours total trying to update to no avail. Just says CONNECTING and won't bind.

Just got my Evo II Pro a couple days ago. Firmware update went south somewhere and now am experiencing the exact same issue, controller won't connect or rebind tot he drone, but I'm seeing the camera feed through my android device when connected. Already emailed support a couple days ago...
