Are the Antennas on the Evo 2 controller been beefed up ?

3 weeks for me I live in New Mexico . To make it quicker once you get a return authorization pay for faster shipping yourself. Took mine a week to get there a week to repair and a week to return to me.

I sent my rc in for repairs of the antennas that had cracked. Only had the evo for a month or 2 with less than 10 flights. Got it back from autel and three weeks later the antennas started cracking again. I did the antenna mod. They work great so far took it out 2 miles so far didn't want to go...

Obstacle avoidance does not work in low light.

I didn't see that either.

Tested antennas only went out 1500 feet all seems to be fine. Will take it out farther later.

It looks to me that its just the foam covering on the ribbon cable .

Are those long enough ? I just had to flip the battery over to get the rc case to close.

That's good that you didn't damage your radio. I have yet to test mine I guess I will try a long range test first with it on the ground.

I was able to remove the battery. I don't think it's stuck to the tray anymore though. I have not tested the new antennas yet let us know how it goes. My stock antennas were replaced by autel a few weeks ago and already one of the replacements started to crack that's why I decided to replace...

I had the same problem but i flipped the battery over so the battery wires were opposite side of the antennas and that worked for me.
