    Nice, enjoy.

    Best Buy bound

450 for the EVO 2 and 750 for EVO 2 pro. But who’s counting. Just get the dual, only about $8500. Quit a few bucks more. Just came in, burned a battery. Aircraft flew outstanding, EVO 1 is just fine for me.

    Best Buy bound

I returned a EVO to Best Buy for exchange due to a defective unit. There was no restock fee. If I had returned it because I just didn't like it, there would have been a restock fee that you mention $150.00. Call BB to verify.

    Drone Insurance Help

I don’t fly commercially at this time. Got drone replacement insurance the other day through State Farm, $75.00 a year. They do not cover liability. Agent suggested contacting my primary insurance to see if home owners will cover liability. I fly only recreational, If I did the drone thing...

    Incident - Discussed with FAA

Thanks for posting that. I have seen it before, but enlightening for those that haven’t. That is one phone call I don’t want to get. What price did this guy have to pay? I don’t know, however I bet he is still feeling it?.

    Just got my EVO

Welcome Mick, not from Wyoming, but I'm sure that their here somewhere and will be chiming in. Fly Safe and study the EVO user manual and the FAA rules, both will help keep the NTSB away. Welcome to the forum.

    Incident - Discussed with FAA

Interesting, it amazes me that FAA rules allow any manned aircraft to fly low level. With the exception of powered para sails, hang gliders and such. I was a door gunner on a slick (Huey) in VN, got allot of low level flying time in. Things happen very quickly at high speed and low altitude...

    Incident - Discussed with FAA

I was going to take apart your post piece by piece, but by your tone you certainly know it all. So I won't bother. Your free to have your own opinion. I have a history in US Army aviation with rotor wing and two tours of combat experience and don't have the same respect for this aircraft as...

    Incident - Discussed with FAA

I would no doubt feel responsible and have to live with that. But the FAA rule would point to the culprit. It would cripple our industry.

    Incident - Discussed with FAA

Not only dum but dangerous. With my incident, the drone very well could have taken down the Chinnok. Could you imagine the national news about that. Drones would probably be grounded after multi-million dollar aircraft destroyed and air crew dead. Not to mention me being financially...

    Drone Insurance Help

Thanks for the info. Being so cheap it’s pretty silly not to insure drones. If it gets lost, stolen or destroyed, a thousand + dollars is in the toilet. regards

    Data on video

When you click on the video record button you will only record what the camera is seeing, nothing I know of can add telemetry data. Don't know if this is something you might be referring to but it is pretty cool. I use a I-Phone 8 plus, prior to taking off a screen recording function can be...

    Drone Insurance Help

I recently contacted State Farm about drone insurance. They sent me a quote of $47 dollars a year. That is all the agents quote said. Does not describe coverage at all. He said he would need to see the drone (s) receipts to determine a loss coverage number. I guess I need to take them to...

    Incident - Discussed with FAA

At the bottom of the page of the link you provided Section 91.119 para (d) is what the FAA said authorizes helicopters to fly less than 500 ft.

    Incident - Discussed with FAA

Yes, we need to use all our senses. With this incident I did hear the Chinook, they are quite noisy. I had cleared that airspace maybe 15 seconds earlier, if I hadn’t, hearing it left little or no time to react. In my humble opinion I don’t believe that any high speed aircraft should be able...
